Lionhead Donates Signed Hero & Dog Print to Power of 360
The Power of 360 fundraiser allows Xbox Live gamers to donate and become an achievement themselves so to speak. We are looking for the first 360 Xbox Live gamers willing to donate at least $6.12 per gamertag and be added to the Power of 360 Heroes list. All of the donations go direct to the Susan G. Komen for the cure. Lionhead Studios was the first willing to donate a prize item for the Power of 360 fundraiser. Their donation of the signed Concept Art Print, Hero & Dog was created by artist Mike McCarthy for Fable 2. It was Mike McCarthy's suggestion to also get Peter Molyneux to sign the Hero & Dog print. We can not be happier with this wonderful donation and look forward to giving this away at the launch of Fable 2.
The Ultimate Hero Prize pack will go to one of the lucky Heroes that has donated to this cause. In addition to the Hero & Dog print will be Fable: The Lost Chapters & Limited Edition Fable 2, being donated by Robert Owens. The goal is for 360 donors to each give at least $6.12 and that will help us raise at least $2203.20. So far with only 80 Heroes donating, we've helped raise $1133.12 in donations. This means the Power of 360 could raise well over the projected goal in the end. The donations help support Edith in her efforts to raise awareness for Breast Cancer research and inspire her as she prepares for the Breast Cancer 3-Day a 60 mile walk taking place on November 7-9 here in Dallas Texas. She is truly touched by the show of support from the gaming companies, gaming communities, and gamers on Xbox Live. Please visit the Power of 360 website and become a Hero today. Check back as more Heroes and perhaps even more prizes are donated for this cause and as the launch of Fable 2 approaches. Take a look at the latest developer diaries from Lionhead and on the subject of Art and the Hero.
